Whether I like HD weather or whatever its called. Like, it’s nice to have a readout of the weather where you are, but it’s not realtime (no trip computer) and it only works in major metropolitan areas. The best part I guess is being able to get a six hour forecast on it.
I also have a ton of small mods planned for the Tacoma, so get ready for that.

In my experience, on the same generation of Entune, it’s actually worked shockingly well...
And, I can pull up the radar and get a reasonably current image, and watch storm cells.

You can pull up the radar on this generation of Entune?

I prefer a dash thermometer and looking out the window.

That’ll do the trick as well.

That is Next Generation Entune, right?
Should be in Apps, Weather, Weather Map.

No clue, it’s a 2014 Tacoma. I actually don’t think I have that though.

Sounds considerably less useful than the weather on your phone, aside from it being on the dash.

What is this fancy HD weather thing you speak of?
The Passat tells me it’s 90°-100° every day. Is it accurate? Kind of. I just use my phone to check the weather.

The Sequoia would always say I was in Connecticut instead of Long Island

Ah, it’s only on Entune Premium, and I think what you have isn’t Premium.
That video shows what the Entune Premium system can do (in a 2014 Tundra, too), which is what my Prius has.

Let’s be honest here. How often do you really look out the window in a car. Your head is always buried in your cell looking for the latest weather forecast. :P

I don’t have nav, so that would explain it

It is fanciness of some sort, hah
If the Jetta did one thing right, it would be fairly accurate temp readouts.
